January 26th, 2009 - The Call We've Been Waiting For
It's about 3:30PM when our business phone rings. I dont pay too much attention because I am thinking Wynne or Terrance will answer it. Wynne answers it and calls for me telling me it's Toni. I'm thinkng, "Who is Toni?" Wynne comes down to the basement with the phone and it's Toni, our adoption representative. She asks us how we are doing and beigins by saying, " Before I tell you anything, I have to get some legal stuff out of the way." She tells us the legal junk before she finally says, "Congratulations. You have a three and a half month old, healthy, baby boy waiting for you." Wynne and I just look t each other with a look of absolute confusion. Is this really happening? I am expecting this call to come on a Friday, not on a Monday afternoon. 3 boys had been referred on Friday, so we were up to bat. But we were not expecting it to come so soon. we thought we had to wait at least another month. If you would have seen us, all you would have seen was smiles as wide as they could humanly be on Wynne's and my face.

Hi guys its been a while that we;ve been in contact with each other. Lots been happening since the last time.... Our daughter's are getting really big and beautiful like there mom's :)hahahaha......You guys moved from New York to Tennessee to your new home and we;ve moved from Tampa to Bradenton to a condominium. Wow we've all separated to our own little corners of the world. But we still manage to be in contact some how, thank's to technology.... Anywayzzzzz, I would like to CONGRATULATE you guys for the greates thing only two good hearted people could do, adopt a little baby, give it your name and love him and take care of him like if it were your own.... Thats the most beautiful thing a humanbean could do, of course one with lost and lost of DOUGH :)HaHaHa....Anywayzzz god bless your beautiful family take very good care of my new little cousin, even though I am sure you guys will. Some of us ask our selfs , "why Iam here in this world, why did god brought me in this dangerous world"? And each and everyone of us has a purpose in life you guys meet each other got married stated your family and now you guys are adding a new addtion to your family someone that will be brought up like your own. Raising both Ell and the little one equally thats you guys purpose in life helping and saveing a little person thats inocent in this world. If thats not a good thing to do for some one the way things are now in this tough world I don't no what is... Well guys when I start I don't stop, take care and best of luck with the little one god bless love you........XOXOXO
